The poison in your heart will settle within the cobwebs of your veins; Don’t misjudge the power of your own hurt – it can hurt others too.
Confession - I broke a boy
Broken boy
You would mistake this boy for a monster;
A creature.
Although his eyes will tell you otherwise,
I advise you mind your step,
For the nebulous in his soul will embrace you; consume you
Till your lungs are squeezed dry.
Because he likes the sight of the red warmth,
He’ll watch it slither down your throat.
~~~~
His words are a puddle,
You must not fall in,
The waters are alive,
And will seep under your skin.
His compliments are his demons,
They’ll grab you by the hand,
A whisper of suspicion is all you’ll hear,
Before they break your arm off with a snap and a sneer.
~~~~
The devil inhabits his monster,
And fills his blood with lies,
I can tell you the reason his head is filled with cries.
Truth be told,
He cries himself to sleep,
The cracks in his lungs are knotted with vines,
They bound and they twist. They suffocate him whole.
~~~~
If you looked into his eyes,
I’m sure they‘d be dull,
The colour is worn out,
His mind has broken his soul.
~~~~
Take pity on this freak,
He’s a train wreck; a destruction,
He’ll summon tsunamis of rage,
Just to drive away those
Who threaten to break down his cage.
~~~~
His eyes may hold a hazy mess,
But I found myself lost in this nebulous clutter,
This monster drew me in,
With the flaws he hid within.
His soul had rusted,
From the nostalgic waters
I saved him from drowning,
With the love I yearned to give,
But in the end my own words
Brought this boy to the slaughter
